“There is no choice here. This is what I do.”

Born and bred London singer songwriter Eva Katzler is outstanding. Intelligent songs, stunning melodies, exquisite vocals, absolute integrity and a depth which is as intriguing as it is emotive. “Extremely beautiful and deeply contemplative” Sir Paul McCartney

Eva Katzler captures her audience and lifts them away with her with an enviable ease. At the mic, at the piano, or a cappella she is mesmerising. Something undefinable shines through her and you cannot help but be drawn into her captivating world.

It was in London's vibrant songwriting clubs that Eva Katzler honed her craft and developed her unique style and sound, described by Elvis Costello as "Gorgeous". Not only does she have an astoundingly beautiful voice, she is an exceptional writer and her lyrics are as poignant and insightful as the artist herself. Simple things inspire Eva Katzler's songs of life and love. We can all relate to the words she sings and she delivers them with a remarkable conviction.

Topping Norah Jones in the mp3.com charts with her EP 'Poem' ensured that Eva Katzler's loyal fanbase has grown worldwide. After receiving critical acclaim for her performances with Terry Hall on his album 'Hour of Two Lights, she went on to support Jamie Cullum on his UK tour. He described her singing as “lush” while others dubbed her performances as “Spectacular”(Julian Lloyd Webber).

She then left the hustle and bustle of London and headed to the tranquility of the Swedish countryside to record her debut album. Working alongside some of the UK's finest musicians she has created a breathtaking classic album. An album brimming with intention, beauty and diversity. It is Eva Katzler at her very best, simply doing what she does. Every song spectacular. No filler.

Eva Katzler may have been born in the wrong era. She is reminiscent of a time when artists were free to create and marketing machines didn't exist; when music spoke for itself. Eva Katzler is a poet, a musician and an exceptional performer.

Putting London singer songwriters back on the map. This girl's the real deal.
